Surviving the Future: Conversations for Our Time is a popular online community run through Vermont's Sterling College, with participants from every continent on Earth. Described as curating spaces for realists about our troubled times, and exploring responses that bring hope and meaning alongside the humour and companionship that come from facing difficult realities together.[1]

Offerings include online courses (both live/guided and self-directed) and stand-alone events, all on a 'pay what you can' basis, and all offering entry to the wider community. The program was created in 2020 by Shaun Chamberlin, featuring contributions from the likes of Vandana Shiva, Richard Heinberg, Jason Hickel, Kate Raworth, Rob Hopkins, David Abram and Helena Norberg-Hodge.
