Matt Segall is a process philosopher and assistant professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

About: I am Matthew David Segall, Assistant Professor in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I teach graduate courses applying process philosophy to various disciplines, including the natural and social sciences, as well as the study of consciousness. I also teach courses on German Idealism, with a special focus on Schelling’s Naturphilosophie and Goethe’s scientific method. My current research explores the relevance of process philosophy to new paradigms in physics and biology.
